The ZN040 adapter is used when performing All Keys Lost procedures for Audi A6/A7/A8 2011+ with BCM2. The adapter provides all necessary connections:

CAN separator – used for connection to the internal CAN-BUS of the vehicle for reading the ECU and TCU
LIN connector (green wire) – used for connection to the internal LIN-BUS of the vehicle for reading the ELV
OBDII connector – used to force the IGN ON
B+ connector (yellow wire) – used for connection to B+ when reading the ECU and TCU through the CAN separator
GND connector (black wire) – used for connection to GND when reading the ECU and TCU through the CAN separator
