The PIN Manager allows you to read the PIN code from the BSI or ECU units and use it to program keys for Peugeot and Citroen vehicles, manufactured after 2016. Functionalities:
- PIN code reading
- Key programming (HT-AES)
- Emergency start
The PIN code is retrieved by using the ZN094 key emulator, which can consequently be used for emergency start in All Keys Lost situations, in order to start and drive the vehicle to the nearest workshop. For vehicles 2021+ with BSI the PIN is read directly in seconds even in a case of All Keys Lost It is no longer necessary to read the BSI EEPROM or to read the PIN from the Engine Control Unit! For vehicles 2022+ with VSM the PIN is read directly in seconds, but a working key is required or VSM EEPROM dump in a case of All Keys Lost. The new procedure is a much faster, easier and safer solution!
Note: Retrieving the PIN by ZN094 emulator does not bypass 30 minutes waiting time when learning a new key.
PN018 legacy license (now included in PN020) The PN018 PIN Manager is a leader in the aftermarket solutions for key and remote control programming for the Peugeot/Citroën PSA vehicle range. PN018 lets you read the PIN code from all BSI types, and program keys, all by OBDII, as well as skip wait mode for models 2018+. More functionalities:
- BSI Exchange – allows you to read the whole content of the one BSI and transfer it to another one. You will need to own both special function PN018 and PN017 to complete this procedure. (all BSI units)
- ECU Replacement – in case of ECU replacement, you can replace the defected ECU with a second-hand ECU, read its PIN (preferably on bench using CB013) and change the BSI PIN to match the replacement’s ECU PIN. Then, a new set of keys need to be programmed to the vehicle.
